  • I would pay Haas or Tino around 1.4-1.5 mill a year. They're massive.

  • I very much doubt that Haas would leave Qld with his family set up and his mother in prison but no harm in trying!

  • Haas should have a get out clause, anyway contracts meaning nothing

  • The way parra squad is set up with all the juniors coming through this is the exact type of player or 2 we can make moves from that will change us from top 8 to a contender they will be a ridiculous  amount of salary cap freed  up with lane, matto, carry, Paulo, rcg, hands, lussick etc etc by 2027 obviously  alot of the younger olayerd will need upgraded but surely parra is in a great spot for a signing or 2 like this

  • This is the very type of player we should steer well clear of. He's obviously an incredible talent but his entire career at the broncos he has been agitating for increased salary (or a release) and it would ruin our cap and culture. No thanks, the Broncos can keep him.

    • Agree

    • But  in the same breath we had a hard on for Lachie Galvin.

    • Little bit more than an incredible talent ahah. Might finish up the best prop ever. Culture wise, his parents are in jail, his brother is disabled and you wouldn't even know. Never been in trouble, goes out for nsw with an injury and is motm. This is the exact type of culture we want. But yeah I understand the contact negtiations have been his only downfall

    • not if we front ended the contract

  • I will say though he is not going to get a top deal at another club in Sydney other than us to be fair as we have money. People saying Roosters or Sharks, neither have money and re-signed their Props. Unless we wait for a club to try and sign him like Roosters and we pick up Collins or Leniu for example.

But out of all 18 clubs it's us and Perth that offer big coin. Maybe Manly but not as much.
