Gus getting destroyed by media and fans.

Hard to feel sorry for the bloke when he goes on national tv a few weeks ago denies any interest in a player then signs him a few short weeks later. Media and fans are absolutely crushing his credibility and it's just a bad look for the game when a player takes 500k less to join the club that Gus is the head of. Pressure will firmly be on the bulldogs this season as anything less then a title will lead to a backlash

  • I'd love to know what transpired in the last few days from Friday Afternoon.

    • Well the Tigers still do need to release him , so I reckon there'd be a bit in that also.  Canterbury may have very well have promised a player as the Tigers were counting on a player threesome if you believe the media. Obviously now we aren't releasing DylBoobs and therefore forcing the player merry go round.

Imagine the Tigers now refused to release Galvin 😂.  That'd be hilarious if The Tigers said they'd release as they assumed they were only opening the door for us as it'd benefit them .

      • Wouldn't make any difference would it he'd still end up at the Dogs.

Issac Moses would be like I'll see you guys in court.

      • Hehe I'd love to see that happen. Almost as much as a lie detector test on a few involved in this shite with a small bit of a shock given when it's a lie hehe pumpkin mash

  • In a corporate box at CommBank Stadium on Friday night, Parramatta officials were in a buoyant mood after positive negotiations with Lachlan Galvin's manager Isaac Moses.

Less than 36 hours later their mood dramatically shifted.

This is the inside story of how Phil Gould hoodwinked the Eels out of signing Galvin ➡️ bit.ly/3SGxFQh

  • Galvin isn't a 7 and Burton isn't a 6.

    Smoke a giant turd Gus.

    • Spot on. It makes no sense for the dogs to sign him.

"No.
Its no use chasing a guy like this you have to find players like this not wait until there something then expect you have a chance to recruit them. This is how you get into cap trouble overpaying to get a guy like this moved."
