Game Day Blog - Sea Eagles vs Eels

Tonight we see the battle of Brooky with the Eels again up against Manly, but this time on their turf and with a no doubt strong sense of redemption after a controversial win for the Eels a few weeks ago. Sanders makes his debut in a massive game, particularly for our boys. I have a feeling that we are going to get our arses handed to us tonight and face another week of media scrutiny and talk about BA in general.

So, who wins and by what margin?

MOM?

Go you Eels!!!

          • Thank you so much for the support Grunta, you are the reason I post as I know you hang on my every word. If not for you I would have given up this site years ago honestly. Thank you again for the support and motivation.

          • Grunta, c'mon mate. I'm not sure what it is with all the LB hate. Again.

LB adds so much for our site; he's invaluable. I would hate to see him driven off the site because of some personal agendas and dislike. I want LB to contribute and share as much as he wants. It's good for the site.

Also, he is not a bully and does not go out of his way to attack others. That's the kind of person we need on the site.

PS: In terms of long-mind-numbing blogs, I'd probably take the cake anyway. I admit it, lol.

            • Yeh HOE I love LBs blogs too

I always learn lots from them ....-and agree he's never a twat or an asshole

              • LB adds a hell of a lot more to this site than others do.

                • Each to their own...

                  • You really dislike me don't you mate. Even though never said anything about you in the past or done anything to troll yet I'm the one you target? Just don't get it mate, it just feels personal.

          • Haha , funnilly enough some weekends I didn't even know what day we play , so I open up looking for the Grunta game day blog to find out of todays the day 😂😂.

  • I'm at a wedding tonight and NFL draft to catch up on, if I'm not too tired I'll see how we go when I'm home.

  • It would be a brave man trying to predict the result. Don't use real money.

We could lose by 30 plus or with some luck grind a win by 2-8 points. Dunno.

Either way, I expect a bounce-back though (even if Brad didn't ask for one). Plus, Manly's defence is also suspect.

So, it's likely to be high scoring, say around 50 points collectively or more. If you're on any heart medication, it might not be a good idea to watch the game.

Bear in mind, since R17 last year, we concede on average over 35 points per game away and have only won 1 away game from 7.

An Eels' win would be an incredible result.
