Based on Ryles' latest press conference, it seems all but confirmed that Galvin's time at the Tigers is coming to an end.

When asked about the possibility of signing Galvin—given the club's halves are already set for 2025—Ryles responded: "A lot of strange things happen in footy, but we're going to do the right thing by the NRL."

That sure sounds like something is already in motion.

There’s growing talk of a three-way player swap being finalised before the June 30 deadline, and most pundits now believe Galvin has played his last game for the Tigers.

On another note, Adam Reynolds has confirmed he's been in discussions with the Tigers regarding a move for the 2026 season.

  • Who cares where Galvin goes 🤣 He could go on a slow boat to China. He's nothing special just another 'flavour of the month' which will fade away until the next flavour comes along

    • Metcalf and Strange are both better ATM

      • Katoa is better than all of them Galvin included.

Thats who the Dogs really want the Galvin talk I think is a smoke screen.

        • I doubt Katoa leaves Redcliffe. He's contracted to 2028

        • Good point Coryn.   The dogs need an absolute 7, not a five-eighth.

I'd be very surprised if they were after galvin

  • I just watched that presser, yeah sounds like something is going to happen, Ryles also smirked about it too, then when asked about the halves being established, he sought of paused and Arrhh about it.

i predicting he will be at parra in the next few weeks, with a 3 player swap

  • alot of doggies fans who are in the know (like the eels ones) seem to think he is a done deal to dogs! who knows until the press release is out there and an offical announcement is made.

  • If this Galvin signing falls thru like it seems it will, I still go back when Ryles stood infront of the camera weeks back and told the world he'd be interested if Galvin came on the market. Blew his load way too early some would say, he won't be making that mistake again.

    • I think Ryles has played it ok, basically if Galvin wants to be an eel the deal is there. If he ends up going to the dogs I guess he didn't want to be at parra then. The best deals do get done in silence but as soon as the media started pushing Galvin to eels that's when other clubs can jump in and try rip him away. Hopefully the club is already working on sandon smith and just get that done without a hassle

      • It's funny how all along Tigers management have always said Galvin will sign for the Dogs.
