well those comments aged well....
I actually think Joash will suit our style of play better than Iongi at 1. Iongi's biggest weakness at 1 is his support play. Time and time again our forwards and halves make line breaks which we inevitably bomb because of poor support play. With the way our forwards are linking up, we need someone lurking around the middle. I suspect this is where Joash may excel and may put in a big claim for 1. However I've said it many times I think Iongi will make an excellent 6. If Joash kills it at 1, Iongi's future may lay at 6
Going to be interesting to see how Joash goes at fullback, Reynolds will no doubt target him with kicking game so hopefully he's up to the challenge. No doubt he'll be fine in attack.
It is odd to see line break after line break and there is nobody there to ice it. The Hammer probably would have scored 83 tries supporting those breaks
Exactly, Paps, Teddy, Turbo take your pick. Exactly why I think Joash 1 and Iongi at 6 will work well especially with JP, DW and Hopgood ball playing in the middle, our halves are naturally playing wider anyways
well if you check the statistics that Bluey published you will see that Iongi has a top 4/5 rating amongst fullbacks!!!
Good to see Moses back....well there is a kangaroo tour to get ready for after less the 15 games for Parra in two years by the end of the season.....lol
He'll be fresh as a daisy mate, all ready for his fully paid and payday , end of season trip away.
Well , I must say, I didn't expect Moses back this year.
