          • Holbrook came out and said the Eels job was attractive. At the same time he had a deal with Easts and they are funny about letting assistants go early.

He is off contract 2026, linked to Bears in 2027.

Madge, I was told by those who are close to him, that he wanted Eels job and we said no as he is too close to BA. So he said the NSW job factor as an excuse, he did say after Origin he would talk and Parra said they wouldn't wait that long either.

          • They missed the the window for these high profile guys because they flat out made the wrong decision around BA at the beginning of the 23-24 seasons.Going big game huntings a slow burn not a blow your load happy enough you've made the offer.

I mean South's made the Bennett approach at least 12 months before he was hired. We gave it 6 weeks I mean we legit didn't have a shot.At least Bennett sat and took the meetings good for him but in the end he was just paying us lip service.

  • Couldn't care less about Galvin anymore. He did what he believed was best for him, can't blame him for that and the Eels have moved on.

  • If you looked at the Dogs from a few years ago, not many would have gone there. I see Parra in the same light and we will be that force again after some hard decisions were made by Ryles. Dogs see themselves in a window, and Galvin may mean the difference between being in a GF and actually winning it. Good luck to them.

But the shit fight he's left behind in such a short playing career is something we could probably do without. Will be watching with much interest what happens at Belmore. Lets smash them when we meet them in a few weeks!

We just need to fix up the R&R side of things. MON and that other idiot need to go.

    • Though a lot did. Burton, Kikau, Mahoney, Crichton. All big signings, two of them when Barrett of all people was there. Gould was the difference. Had Gould not been there, well Ciraldo i doubt would be, but even if he was he was not getting those players.

Even though i would like to see MON gone, you do not even need MON to go, just need a figure head in negotiations that can sell a vision, can sell ice to eskimos.

Gould has shown to be reactionary and unloyal to talent, evidence is there with Barrett in coaching, Cleary at Penrith, now Mahoney. He has a track record of pushing you to the curb once you are not considered needed or a new toy comes along. But people ignore that as he can sell a vision.

Telling you now, had Gould been here and everyone else was involved as well that we have now, we are getting a lot more signings than we would without him.

  • Zero fucks.

  • Moses was payed by the Dogs I bet.
