The Parramatta Eels are pleased to announce that the Club has activated the option for Josh Addo-Carr to remain at the Club for an additional year through to the end of the 2026 NRL season.
The dynamic winger has quickly become a valued member of the Blue and Gold family, bringing experience, energy, and leadership to the squad.
Parramatta Eels General Manager of Football Mark O’Neill said, “Josh has been a popular addition to our Club. From day one, he has embraced the Parramatta community and brought a real spark to our group.
“The coaching staff have been impressed with his leadership on the field particularly with our younger players. His passion and personality have had a positive effect across the organisation, and we’re happy to have him with us for another season,” added O’Neill.
Addo-Carr is the Club’s leading try-scorer this season, since making his NRL debut in 2016, he has scored 147 career tries.

I reckon he should of been given an extra year ontop.
the only way MOM can get a signature is a contract option in the clubs favour....Honestly how fucking stupid does the front office believe we are.....everytime we miss a signature they will release almost immediately a naf signing that was already in the bag...ffs get him out of the club ....................
Maybe MON can't multi task and can only handle one contract at a time...
Doesn't this mean he can talk to other clubs as early as November been to good to not lock up for. At least another year
What an idiot.....
Why not give the bloke an extra year. I honestly feel that Josh really loves the club, you can see it in his body language and the way he's enjoying his footy again. We need this type of player.
Extend the bloke FFS, not activate the clause.
Whose to say we aren't working on an extension? It's good business to activate the option and then work on an extension.
