Eels ask for Sua 2026

EELS ASK DRAGONS FOR SU’A IN 2026!

Reports circulating that the Parramatta Eel’s have made new discussions with the Dragon’s to allow Eel’s new signing for the 2027 season Jayden SU’A join the club early in 2026, off the back of many injuries this is a call for help.

Parramatta Eel’s General Manager of football, Mark O’Neill has stated yesterday in a stadium tour with fans that Eel’s are actively looking at options before the June 30 deadline.

Mark was also asked about Herbie Farnworth, which he indicated that it’s something the club could look at or would love to have on board.

      • Exactly right Macy and with 2 new expansion teams on line this only exasperates the value of the player in the wrong direction for a team like ours. There are zero bargains anymore if you are an elite talent or an up n comer like Lucas.Alot will say the vaunted line he isn't worth that but guess what with the lack of quality and with there being 2 new teams in the mix the value goes up for everyone even your depth and mid tier guys.Russell is a perfect example of that.650 at Perth I bet you he's on half that here I'd put money on it.

        • FYI I'm lead to believe the $650k number for Russell is a little misguided. Was closer to 400k

          • Where did you hear that from? Also AE, i hope you accept my apology for the post this morning, my intention was not to come off that way and upon reflection i can see how you took it that way.

            • I'd rather not say but definitely connected somewhat. All good about before. It's very easy to misconstrue tone in these written formats. I have to check myself everyday as I often come across quite blunt lol

              • We all have times where we say things and go off that is wrong.

Connections with just Perth or others?

  • it wont matter who we buy or how many, if we don't get our systems and attitude right

  • Need something good. Seeing Dylan Brown destroying opponents. This is depressing give us something

    • Brown was extremely good and has gone to new level at the Knights.

    • Brown is playing good - but lets not forget he had Moses at Parra for several years showed IMO little consistency. Lets see how he goes in 12 months time and more and he is being paid a motza and has to deliver or they will march him up to Redhead beach.

    • Well run clubs never lose a marquee player.  Especially when 7 or 8 of their top 17 are of reserve grade standards like Parramatta

      Russell

      Kelly

      Kelma

      Kit kat

      Pezet

      Penasini  - marginal

      Doorey

      Guymer

      Debelin

These players should all be in Ron massey cup

I have no idea how Parramatta are paying full freight in the cap with these players on the books

SARANTINOS AND MARK O'NEILL OUT ASAP.   MAKE PARRAMATTA GREAT AGAIN

"I just do not see any risk at all. Herbie's skill level is off the charts, he's probably better than Iongi in nearly every metric and he just moves better than Iongi. I don't ever see Iongi becoming elite. He's very good through effort like Gutho…"

"Agreed that's why I believe this is just another stop gap. I honestly don't think Wing is our biggest issue right now though. I understand this may be the only option a club will throw our way right now so it is what it is. "
