EELS ASK DRAGONS FOR SU’A IN 2026!
Reports circulating that the Parramatta Eel’s have made new discussions with the Dragon’s to allow Eel’s new signing for the 2027 season Jayden SU’A join the club early in 2026, off the back of many injuries this is a call for help.
Parramatta Eel’s General Manager of football, Mark O’Neill has stated yesterday in a stadium tour with fans that Eel’s are actively looking at options before the June 30 deadline.
Mark was also asked about Herbie Farnworth, which he indicated that it’s something the club could look at or would love to have on board.

Christ mate you yourself are losing the plot. What i mean by agenda is you are using examples as reasons for knocking MON but you are inconsistent. Russell is the prime example. First saying these idiots let Russell walk. Now you say Russell is Ron Massey and how we have these players in our squad.
You've done the same with BA. I can admit i wanted him gone but i can still admit the good things he has done, same with MON. You cannot it seems. Ryles has issues that BA seemed to have and knock MON not Ryles. If BA was here he would have copped it.
Case in point with you being so defensive for anyone who dares credit them with anything and jump to conclusions of who these people are.
You can say they are not doing a good job, but be consistent in your criticisms. You use examples that fit your narrative. When they don't you either change it into your narrative another way or get rid of it completely.
You know my stance, MON i feel has done some good things but lately he has made blunders. Would we be better with a new voice at GM? Sure, but every little thing you are blaming him yet Ryles your golden child also makes choices that MON abides by.
So would you give O'neill a pass mark on the current state of our roster. I wouldn't give him 3/10 LB

This roster right now is not very good. There are a few good juniors but cannot be relied on to deliver us finals. But that is not what i am talking about. If you read what i said, i said i would not mind if MON moved on or was moved on. I believe we could use a new voice.
What i am frustrated with is the inconsistencies in the arguments you present against him. Before if we couldn't get players, it was all BA's fault. Now it is all MON's fault. Yes his job is to set up the roster, though there is also Sarantinos, Rogers and Ryles.
So now BA is gone, you need a new punching bag. MON is that person. Now he used to put options in contracts. Imagine if they brought in Richo and he put options in contracts? I can 100% guarentee you would be all for the options. If MON did it for the same player you would say what an idiot for putting options in. Same with coaching, BA did everything wrong and Ryles does everything right. I wanted BA gone by the end but i could admit he is a good coach. Same as i really like Ryles but he has made some rookie mistakes as well. You can support and disregard a person and also be realistic in what they have done overall. Instead every thing is either good or bad with certain people, not inbetween as to where i mention an agenda.
I will ask you a question. If MON is solely responsible for all that is bad with the roster all by himself. Will you admit the roster he built from 2019-2022 was pretty good?

A quick question for all our officianados out there. We've been inconsistent at best, over the last 5-10 years. Cause and effect, who or what has been here during those years, what are the constants during this period. We've had new players, new coaches, new systems, the club as a whole seems to carry over " the inconsistency curse", the inability to entice quality players, Interested in any replies
That's the million $$$ question no one on here or at the club has the answer to.
I suspect and this is my own opinion we are down in a number of areas across the board through out the the club vs the best in the nrl.
5-10 years I'd say closer to 20 odd years,inconsistency curse interesting take I think it ties nicely with sleeping giant.

First ive heard about Herbie interest. Hes one of the games best players, a standout in every game he plays. And hes not an old washed up has been or an exciting rookie, hes the real deal, experienced but plenty of years ahead of him, if theres a window there, Parra should throw massive deal at him, would make an instant positive impact for the side.
