Dom young shits on lomax? Such a bad troll
Yes please make it happen and yes we do need 2 front rowers and 1 2rd rower we got the money so go hard get them or we will struggle again
Don't need him, he's so average and to top it off an a-grade Wanker. The roosters don't let players go early without a serious issue
Yet they signed him in the first place? The gloss has certainly come off the Roosters R&R team. Brandon Smith, Chad Townsend and now Dominic Young...
Agree but he did look promising a few years ago. Hindsight is a beautiful thing
Young unfortunately is not a consistant first grader. If he can't find form on the end of the Roosters system then we would have no hope of turning him around.
A 76% tackle efficiency this year, 78% last year, 81% year before and 79% before that. Not a very good defensive proposition.
5 years in the NRL with a 41% win ratio when he plays.
I think I'd rather stick with Lomax and Addo Carr, get rid of Penisni and Russell and go all in on signing Cobbo or Staggs who are both off contract.
Penisini is fine on the right.
Sorry Clintorian, but he just isn't. The amount of trys he blows just through not being in position or not being able to see the play required is staggering. It goes unnoticed way too much.
'You can pick up small things on the TV, like not setting a winger up, no draw and pass options, running lateral and taking the wingers space, not in position to back up a runner or the pace to support a break. Lying in the ruck more times then not after being involved in a tackle, having a low 80% tackle efficiency, struggling to provide try assists. The list goes on. The Penisni highlight reel would not be very bright. He has had 3 or 4 years, 80 odd games, he should be really showing his talent now, but it seems like he hasn't improved an inch in the last 3 years.
He may be a fan favourite, but honestly he is a budget option centre and performs to that standard. I don't think he would have too many man of the match awards or been credited with too many Dally M points for that matter in his career. To be competitive at NRL level a team needs their centre to be a strike weapon. I don't think Penisni is that.
