Seems like the bulldogs are going to sign Galvin and stash him in their system, unsure why they are doing it with all the halves they have at their disposal but is what it is. Next target for the eels should be Sandon Smith should cost far less and not as much baggage.

I wil say one thing, he is a much better player than Blaize Talagi, gee I hope we do not do anything stupid and try and buy him back.
We have lost Talagi, Sanders and Brown (burnout). There are lot of young halves around, contrary to the rumour. I would take the kid from Easts in a heart beat.
That's the way I look at it too, it would be great to get him but even if we do we are still going to need to sign a couple of really good forwards to be title competitors.
I've always said this about getting Galvin imo it's about reversing the narrative we've lost the mentioned but we've got one back that potentially with Moses puts us right back in the mix with another year down the track under JR I think it's a big win if we do get him over the line not just between the white lines.
Would certainly be a great signing but this is starting to look like an Issac Moses special and driving up Galvin price, let's see what happens in the next week or so
Drums are beating and it doesn't sound to good for the Eels.
Thanks for confirming he is coming here.
Who cares 🤣 There's more to life than this mumbo jumbo.
We are in the box seat, we have been in the box seat for months. Lachlan has stated he wants to be an Eel. We have the facilities, we have Origin type players in our team, we have the shiniest new age coach supposedly ready to shine brighter, we have the cash, we have the cap space, we have a top 30 spot available. We have Uncle Moses nephew in the halves. Seriously front runners by a long way.
'If we were to lose him to another club at this late stage on top of Sanders, Blaze then Brown that would be the last straw for me with our Recruitment and retention committee. "Failing to keep players they wanted". This would be a monumental smack in the face for our front office and our club. To stuff this one up now would have to be the end of our recruitment team.
I don't care how many times they want to rehash the resigning of Penisni even though he took up his player option or some other want to be up and comming Junior players" Time to get their big boy pants on and play with the big fellas in club land. As fans we deserve it.
'Knives at the ready. Metaphorically speaking.
It has to be the nail in the coffin for O'Neil if we fail to land Galvin, for me he should already be out the door.
