  • If you watched the dogs game without any numbers on their back, you would have thought Burton was a centre/fullback with his highlights. Perhaps him at 6 could work with a dominant 7 like Moses but I am not confident it would work.

  • There's no point talking about it. Our board can't make a signing.

  • Burton is worth huge money, and is certainly already on huge money, which is the only reason the Dogs would let him go. With his kicking game, he would be wasted (and overpaid) at centre.

  • If Ryles is going after Burton that means Lorenzo isn't ready, I mean if Lorenzo was ready to really play NRL he would have debuted against the dogs instead of playing journey man Volkman. Also the players were shifting along means we are about to make a few signings. Walker could be gone, and some other player was getting shopped around at our club. I think Mattos money will be free to spend as well. So we could be very close to making a signing or a few. Never know what this clubs signs man.

    • Isnt all this just speculation i cant find anywhere where there any reference to this

Paying overs is a risky choice. Especially if staff (coach/recruitment) are under pressure. Having several players on overs might produce more success in the short term; however, the damage can take many years to recover from. How many players do…"
