I'd love to see Lorenzo debut. Now. However, you can respect Ryles being protective. Worried with injuries and changing combinations, and losing, it'll potentially cause more damage than it's worth. High risk for not that much reward. Lorenzo will definitely be a weekly target.
I wouldn't want to debut Lorenzo if Moses is not at 7. So assuming Moses doesn't back up against Knights, I would wait another week minimum. Personally I see JR using Papalii at 6 for the next few weeks minimum
Based on that zerotackle article from LB, you're right: Lorenzo will be 20 soonish. It's just his physicality at NRL level I wonder about, and the grind. It'd be a lot happier if Su'a was his Tony Carroll.
Lincoln Fletcher is also on the most talented NRL rookie list and a year younger apparantly. Out of curiosity, do you rate Fletcher a better prospect than Sanders?
P.S. The undying optimist in me hopes Risati makes in for us one-day too. He seems to have a high ceiling. Might be unlikely though.
I agree it's unlikely Risati will make it, no different from any junior with high potential. Most of them just won't make it. But if you're concerned that he plays rugby union, the reason is that he is contracted to the Eels, who have paid for him to attend a private school as part of their contract. The rugby is just a byproduct of that. Without the NRL club paying for school, he would be at Blacktown High and playing rugby league for Rouse Hill or Wenty.
If you watched the dogs game without any numbers on their back, you would have thought Burton was a centre/fullback with his highlights. Perhaps him at 6 could work with a dominant 7 like Moses but I am not confident it would work.
"A 40 yr break between drinks tends to have that effect no and that's not on fans that's on the club.
Now wheather they want to look good infront of the masses and still lose well that's another issue.Much like the style of play and coaching of the…"

"Burton is worth huge money, and is certainly already on huge money, which is the only reason the Dogs would let him go. With his kicking game, he would be wasted (and overpaid) at centre."

I trust you know but everything I can see online talks to him only being 18...

EA, my nephew just got selected in the nswccc team.
Nice congrats to him and your family. Those teams are getting stronger every year
Last year was his last playing in SG Ball.
This article was posted last year, says 19. Therefore means 20 this year. https://www.zerotackle.com/rookie-watch-top-100-young-players-yet-t...
He played sg ball u19s in 2025 and 2024. Played HM u17 in 2023 So he would be 20 this year
