Essentially as title states. Call me a negative sort of gent, but im happy our man moses hasnt played a game over there, less chance of him getting hurt and missing pre-season for the blue and golds. Good experince for him, and assuming he will get paid well enough for the experience as well?

I don't get the fuss, it's the right move.
Australian jerserys aren't to be just handed around willy nilly even if the other players are worthy of wearing it, which they all are.
If we were playing a 2nd tier team then you could probably give a few others a crack but it's an ashes test match. You pick the guys you thought were the best in the first place and that have so far got the job done.
I dont think the 17 named have perfromed well across the ffirst 2 games and theyre getting a 3rd test.
If Kev thinks theyre clearly the best 17 for the job then so be it, but some of the selections couldve been argued to be pretty borderline going in and the blokes that got the jump havent really run away with it. Mightbe been a good opportunity to go the other way.
Love to know whats going on with Nathan Cleary at rep level. Hes been solid as always but his sides regularly look unorganised and clunky at rep level. He doesnt grab them like he does at NRL level. NSW got worse when he came back in at 7 and Australia havent looked great either. He walks into every side though which is probably desrved after 4 comps.
I totally get what you are saying and I agree some of the selections to start with could have been questionable.
I have been saying for a couple of years that moses is a better 7 than cleary at rep level but cleary is clearly the best 7 at club level. I think Yeo takes a lot of pressure off cleary at club level but that hasn't transferred to rep footy, you could argue cleary is a system half-back.
Let me say, Moses will only look bad if Grant is hooker, no coincidence that Munster see's more ball from Grant than Cleary and that your MOM's are going Munster's way.
It was just as obvious in the previous series when Moses was half and Deardon 5/8....all the ball to Deardon and guess who was MOM...... you could see Cleary's frustration with Grant and there is not much he can say when the games are being won..... I have said this before in the last Origin Series Cleary ignored Moses at 5/8 and in the second game (Moses injured) Luai was spoon fed by Cleary.
I am seeing this, surely you guys can as well????
Well Cleary plays way better with Moses than he does with other sixes. He suits having another elite half next to him that if cleary bums out, moses can save his ass. Saw it in game one.
But Munster and Grant play fast momentum game, while cleary plays very methodical. Moses plays both, Methodical or fast and he done it against the roosters and broncos. I'm glad moses is there because he'll go up another level.
Spot on Pops, Munster has had 16 and 15 runs in the two games.
His individual stats read quite well but he stifles the attack , often the ball dies with him.
You can't have 4 points of attack it becomes disjointed, 3 works well.
The Roos attack should be running through Cleary and Walsh when they want the ball with Munster a secondary option.
The Roos would be more efficient with Brailey unselfishly operating from dummy half.
💯 agree
Then again, how often do you see coaches change a winning team? In any form of the game? Very rarely does a coach make an unforced change to a team, if they do it is one change.
Glad Moses isn't playing
