Brown limited minutes

Not sure what ryles was thinking here. If you are going to push brown out of the halves but him in the centres for Russell. I can understand him wanting to adjust to life without brown but fuck me you play him or you don't. Not this half assed play him at hooker for 15mins.

  • Brown should be in NSW cup, simple. We need to sign players for next year, because if we don't we will be bottom 4 again.

  • If DB starts at hooker next week I'm calling JR are fraud.

If Ryley Smith is available we desperately need him at 9 and I mean desperately because the middle of our ruck is not upto scratch especially with the error rate being so high.

What I'm disliking now is we are finding out what we are going to look like going foward. There's positives there when we can hold onto the pill but if we can't cull these error counts this team as constructed is screwed and now a guy like Kautoga is now injured there's another edge back rower we have to find.

Please 🤦‍♂️ Jason get Jack Williams on an edge.

    • Ryley is back next week, so it will be interesting to see the make up of the team on Tuesday. Moses is out for one more week... not that he would have much impact at this point

  • Brown shouldn't be there .  Williams poulo and what's his name who got picked for ql always play gassed.  Fox lomax and the fill in guy at wing only made 1 mistake each unfortunately each one was a try, those brain fades need to be sorted.no problems with halves joash needs time. Wasn't happy with the new hooker passes he was playing different pace when he came on ,needs to start.

Our forwards are attacking quick we looked dangerous but when those last passes dropped or should have gone to ground there gassed .I think we need to take the tackle after the break and build. Joash did a great kick so yeah the dropped balls killed us

  • Kautoga was massive blow but every team gets bad luck

    Except riff

  • Just watched the press conference. By the sound of it Joash is 5/8 for 2026

    • Unless Joash is kissed on the dick by a fairy and turns into a FG 5/8 over the off season then we are already favourite for the spoon in 2026.

    • Oh well we'll see how he goes but if he squares up on a dummy cut that Cleary put on him and fell for the dummy on his own goal line fark me we are in trouble we even had numbers to defend it.I can see him getting targeted and trampled by back rowers.

Need to see at least a running game and his ball distribution is good.

    • Yeah fucking sad isn't it. We must be the only fucking team that can't sign a decent player no matter how much money we have to spend. Let's just hope this off-season is the most controversial in history and about 6 top tier players find themselves without a club.

    • I saw it differently, what I got out of the  team selection and presser is that JR won't select DB again unless he has to, and considering that he picked DB over lussick says to me the same about him.
Joash is getting 1st crack at 5/8 because he is already at the club and shows potential but JR isn't impressed.
JR needs to give Joash a good shake prior to November 1, but really if he was that confident he wouldn't have had a crack at Galvin

I am more concerned about J'maine "hands like feet" Hopgood,  not only is he dropping the ball 2/3 a game at crucial times but gives away silly penalties that release pressure that the team has built.

"You'd think Hopgood's style and Ryles' style would be pinpoint. Not much to add. But seems it just cannot seem to sync."
