who would you replace for the physical middle you would like? Or do you think its more we develop Moretti & Tuivita into those blokes.

          • In 27 Paulo's most probably done he's the one I'm looking to move on from next year whatever petrol is left in the tank I'm using up.In 26 I'm probably sticking with what I have but whoever the best middle that is available next Nov.1 I'm all in on.

Tuivaiti is the obvious replacement Moretti is in that mix aswell.

The decision is made a lot easier if the development cycle continues with those last 2 mentioned. The club no doubt doesn't want to go to market for Paulo's replacement but it's all dependent on how these 2 young bulls develop.

            • I want Keaon for 2027 if possible 😂 bunnies still haven't extended him. Would have to think their cap is stuffed

            • Yep all depends on the development. Hope we keep Paulo at the club is a mentoring role for the Islander boys with Sam Moa.

          • There's something about Guymer to me that says he has to be in there somewhere. He could be our Liam Martin/ Angus Chrichton type player. Whilst not a flashy player, good things seem to happen around him whether it's attack or defence

            • I think he is JDB replacement

            • Just watched a Justin Horo/ Mason clip where he had interviewed Charlie and they think like what you are mentioning. They then spoke to Moses and the mentioned backed up the sentiment down the track they see Guymer as a long term pro and being one of the better ones we are carrying at the moment.

The only thing missing from Guymer game is a bit of explosiveness that's nothing an off season and growing into your body won't fix.

              • I'm much more bullish on Guymer now than the start of the season. He just looked like a tackling machine at the start of the year, but with ball in hand he's shown a lot more as the season went on.

                • Bullish, ? You sounding more like the Wolf of wall Street every day Meeiks. And here's something on Guymer.   I think he's going to be up there and one of the first chosen in the near future Leonardo
