Ok so i have decided to do an all-time team with modern day included. The way i will do it is limited to nominees, particulaly with less modern day players as since they have been chosen in other survey's no point in adding others. For example, no point adding Brett Hodgson to the list of all-time as he did not get voted in modern day team, that was Hayne.
So first cab off the rank is Fullback with only three options. Again if i missed anyone i apologise. But also have to think if they are not going to win the survey is it worth having them?
Also, please let me know if certain positions should have a survey, for example 5/8 we all know who it is so would we rather i just name the 5/8 and move on or do we want a survey for that spot? Same with Lock?

Paul taylor. Great defender very underated. But would have to say thornett. Didn't johnny raper put him on his shoulders after a game? Just searched it raper and langlands carried him off on their shoulders

Dad would always say Taylor would tackle a steam train.
My grandfather said Thornett was selected at fullback ahead of Langlands for Australia. That should tell you everything you need to know about how good he was.
My dad told me all about both Ken and Dick Thornett. My dad nearly supported St. George since he loved Reg Gasnier, he was born and raised in Guilford so he decided to support Parra as they were local but also what helped his decision was Ken Thornett. Simply he was incredible to watch.
Dad always told me the Thornett brothers were unbelievable so Ken for sure and Paul Taylor and of course Jarred
