Two former Parramatta Eels players have faced a Sydney court, accused of harbouring semi-automatic weapons and possessing more than half-a-million dollars in cash.
Dozens of family members wept as Aukuso Junior Paulo, 34, and Royce Hura, 27, were denied bail at Waverley Local Court today.
Mr Paulo previously played for the Eels, before signing with St George Illawarra Dragons for the 2010 season, moving to the Penrith Panthers in 2011.
Mr Hura is understood to have also played with the Eels during their 2010 season
Dont even remember them

Ex Eels players? Dont even remember them playing for us.
This is what happens when they dont pay players in brown paper bags anymore
Its a funny combination here, Christian islanders running a guns and drugs moving syndicate.
It was never going to end well, the islanders should stick to being the muscle and leave the organising to the experts.
Junior Paulo

Royce Hura was a junior with us I believe.
So he’s a Roosters Jnr who happened to play for Parra briefly as well as St George and Penrith but somehow the headline says Ex Parra players?
What a Farken joke.
Yes
Shouldn’t have been headlined “ USA Rugby league International “ instead of merely an ex Eels player .
