But also on the other end, when the new TV deal is completed $900k should be the new $700k. So could be a bargain.
I am not too concerned with the salary, more so the years as that seems to be our main selling point to Koloamatangi, if true. 4 years is a long time to commit to a 29 year old middle in 2027.

Only thing driving these prices is the position we are in and supply and demand.
Firstly, it's not the EPL transfer window, so deals aren't being done left, right and centre. Second, it's the last pre-season signing period before the new franchise is admitted, meaning plenty of players are stringing out negotiations to get bigger deals knowing there's an additional team coming in.
