There are more questions than answers regarding Matto and unless you are part of the inner sanctum of the club, we can only speculate.
From the outside, it looks like Matto burned his bridges with Ryles and is persona non grata. The sooner he's gone, the better.

He is bullshitting you. This kid is 18 and just spent the year playing for his school team. When SBW was 18 he was already playing reserve grade and dominating against grown men.
