SYNOPSIS: Charlie Kirk spoke his final words at 12:23 p.m. on September 10, 2025, at Utah Valley University, in front of around three thousand people. Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old alleged shooter of the 31-year-old Republican, remains under investigation. Utah’s governor suggested he may have been radicalized by the Left, though his MAGA-entrenched family and transgender partner complicate the narrative.
The attack shook the United States, exposing deep ideological fractures. Two days later, President Donald Trump concluded that “the radicals on the left are the problem” rather than the radical right who, he said, merely want to “stop crime,” framing the debate in partisan terms during a live Fox News interview. However, voices such as Jack Posobiec and Steve Bannon, speakers at Kirk’s conventions, had long used hard-line rhetoric, calling the Left “demonic” and urging the building of “an army of the awakened.”
History offers a far broader perspective. Abraham Lincoln, Yitzhak Rabin, Mahatma Gandhi, and Martin Luther King Jr. were assassinated by right-wing extremists. John F. Kennedy and Archduke Franz Ferdinand, whose death helped ignite World War I, were killed by left-leaning radicals. A two-way street.
Just months earlier, on June 14, Democrats Melissa and Mark Hortman were gunned down in their Brooklyn home by Vance Boelter, a hard-right evangelical, white Christian who disguised himself as a police officer. Married nearly 32 years, the couple left behind two children. The killings, however, received far less attention than Kirk’s death and did not prompt a presidential call to confront the radical right.
“What do they all share in common? Every political assassination is an attack on the collective; on our ability to disagree without destroying,” an academic observer noted. George Bernard Shaw called it the "extreme form of censorship."
Left or Right isn't the problem in my view. The greater danger lies in the radical mind and in how easily society nurtures the “us versus them” divide. As Desmond Tutu warned, “The moment we divide the world into ‘us’ and ‘them,’ we begin to lose our humanity.”
Charlie Kirk (above and below) is survived by his wife and two children.
Married nearly 32 years, Melissa and Mark Hortman as well as Gilbert, their Labrador (below) leave behind two children.
Boelter who assasinated the Hartmans allegedly kept a hit list of 70 targets, including Democratic lawmakers and even some anti-abortion clinics. The same early morning at 2am he invaded the Minnesota home (above) of the Hoffmans and their children who survived the shooting following surgery.

I think it's safe to say now that he's not some extreme right wing MAGA loving "Yeeeee haw " yokel that our resident paid propagandist was peddling. If people can't see a patten with a certain member after his " gEt tHe jab " episodes then open your eyes and ears. Some will say and do anything , post shit they knows been debunked , well hopefully with the FBI releasing their evidence now in drabs directly , we can all move along without having to endure anymore " receipts ".
Thankfully only a small few drank his Koolaide this time. Maybe now he knows the backstory a little better he can stop celebrating and have some compassion for a man murdered by an unhinged madman who it seems is radical left . If not let's hope he twists his ankle dancing on the grave.
Who cares if they are trans, furry, gay or whatever. This is about a political assassination of 1 person because of different views not mass shootings. How many political shootings have occured recently, because that stat would be more telling then mass shooters for this discussion.
I keep hearing how intolerant 1 side of the argument is, but just like the BLM movement, the destruction and murder by the other side is continually justified by those who think that if you are a minority you have a free pass to do as like.
No destruction of cities is justified and neither are assassinations due to ideological differences. There is plenty more anti Christian and anti white male rhetoric online then anti LGBT or trans. Governments and media bend over backwards for minorities now so the poor me victim mentality doesn't apply. They are no more a victim then anyone else in a world were bullying, abuse and financial inequality happen to everyone.
Poliltical assassinations in the US over last few months.
ONE Republican (Kirk) by a potential radical left winger (*TBC).
TWO Democrats (Hortmans) and Gilbert, their Labrador, by a hard right winger. He failed with TWO more Democrats.
There are probably more but those come to mind.
Americas has a huge issue with nutters on both sides. The point I am making is that Kirk was targeted it seems purely because he'd previously pointed out that's trans are a rising problem that needs addressing and nobody wants to talk about. It's no secret, nor is it a topic the Dems refuse to aknowledge , that right wing nutjobs exist. They'll happily discuss it until they fall off their perch , but Kirk was flagging this growing trend and look at the hate he copped , why ?
however , try getting the lefties to have a conversation about the growing LBGTI extremists . Case in point you flag some alarming trans data and the whataboutisim flows.
Wiz, it's possible the shooter's motive was tied to his trans relationship. There would be deeper issues I'm guessing.
We're on the same page about radicals on both sides being the issue.
But according to the US President it's the Left that is the problem. Would many here agree? Based on history, you'd have say a clear yes. Without a shadow of a doubt. Hard to argue with that, wouldn't you say?
PS: I'm no expert on LBGT matters. We have a reasonably close friend who is trans and a few gays friends but I've never really thought twice about it. They've never really caused us issues. But, some have felt a bit isolated at times, and some families have issues accepting it, which causes different types of stresses.
For me , who has a close relationship with gays on both sides of my wife's and my family. I see the LBGTI political movement totally seperate to gay people and their lives.
One's a radical far left ideologically, one's just normal humans going about their lives. Not even remotley the same. Do I care about two men or women living together , shopping , eating , doing their thing ? Not one bit, in-fact me and my Frenchie usually stop and gas bag for ages with the local old queens, we are mates. Now , throw a flag in their hand and have them carrying on like they're special and we all must agree , totally different scenario. A bunch of gays in a bar , hell they my peeps , they like to party , a bunch in their leather G strings parading down the road like peados , nope , that's forcing it upon us. It's just political bullying.
Wiz, how would you define these labels: the difference between "Left" vs "Far Left Ideology", "Right" and "Far-Right" ideology? Just the gist even. I'm genuinely interested, asking myself these very questions.
PS: In my one on ones with you, you don't seem far right at all, and a decent human being. Daz too is a very decent human being, despite what people think on here. You're both strong, intelligent minds though. Bound to clash.
