The main thing I like about Joash is his character, can tell he wants to be at the club and wants to put his body on the line. If he can expand his game in attack over the offseason we have got something
Eli I agree on Joash is a complete club man and at only 21 these are the type of players the club needs, on Pezet he is a future star but as his father played foe parramatta never know the chances
One bloke forgotten in the discussion to feature in the halves is Ronald Volkman. He's been on fire the last few games outplaying Lorenzo who has been surprisingly quiet.
But there's a knock on Volk that he's weak in defense, and I can't deny that.
But Moses was also a hand-grabber when we got him back from the Tigs, and took a couple of years to be confident in defense.
I'd like us to be patient with Ronny
Volkman has a lot of defensive work to do. His attacking game (including his kicking) was great against Raiders.
Of all the off contract halves Pezet is the only one id consider. Otherwise let the boys we have fight it out in the pre season. Joash has all the tools to be a great 6, he just needs time in the position, Hawkins was also excellent in the system, then you have Renzo & Volkman who also are showing alot of promise. I know losing Brown makes it seem like we have a gaping hole at 6 but actually its one of our deepest postions
Keep an eye on Ilias because dragons would most likely have to pay freight and Braith wants to move him out of dragons. Kid has potential for sure.
