I think Joash is a good player, but from what I've seen only at fullback or on the wing. Those positions we've got pretty well covered, so I guess he's a great back up option. I'd like to see him in 1st grade, but I dont know how he fits in?

  I think thats the problem. He is too good for NSW cup so we are trying to jut fit him into the NRL team somehow . But in reality he is not a 6 or a 9. Just a fullback right now. During the recent pre-season Papalii only spent time training with Iongi at fullback. So unless JR decides to train him in different positions (wing, 5/8, hooker) in the upcoming pre-season, than I believe the club just need to leave Papalii in cup as the backup fullback.
  
  Need to becareful we do not end up like Titans. Kini, Brimson and Campbell all fullbacks but since they are all guns they are just put into any spine spot.

    Similar to how Melbourne have Munster, Hughes, Papz and Faalongo? All came through as fullbacks and the storm have fit them in. It's about the person and the coaching. I think Ryles sees something in Joash.

      Faalongs defence on the wing is awful. He really is just a fullback only.
      
      Difference with Munster & Hughes is also their size. Papalii is small. Yes he did not miss tackles against Titans but stats can lie. He is a small body so it is an easy target for teams to run at to generate ruck speed even if he makes the tackle.
