My take is that the micro-second it was pubiciy revealed that Tedesco was in on the golf-bags, the NRL shit it's knickers. GoldenOne Teddy must suffer no tarnish. Posterboy cannot be stained...won't someone,please, think of the children. The posters torn from bedroom walls, betrayed by their Teddy for some lols with Cheese and Radley. The memory of their Idol completely ruimed. Oh, yhe humanity....that and the millions they have invested in marketing and the fucking howls from all the sponsors he they sell his head to...But if you cancel Radleys contract, he may get vocal "like, what about our captain?" We end up with BadCheese (fucking Souths), Radders keeps contract with no pay suspension (Nick backfills that with contra). Roosters get cap relief and no player losses or further suspensions...NRL keeps on keeping on with turning the game into better "entertainment"

I don't mind this. Maybe other clubs will start to take similar measures or at least NRL can start enforcing similar standards. To often the best players get away with crap like this or even profit through a new contract elsewhere. Usually a quality player gets slap on the wrist as the team can't afford to have couple hundred thousand dollars on the sidelines.
This is much bigger punishment then Ezra got and roosters should be applauded even if they get the cap relief. It is a line in the sand for bad behaviour the NRL should set as a benchmark.
Not getting paid while suspended is a fairly big cost to Radley. If he went to a new club he may have lost a month pay while looking for a new club and suspended for a couple trial games but he also probably walks away with a bigger contract.
Don't worry if it gets approved I'm sure at some stage it will come in helpful for Parra down the track.
