I've been thinking,this guys to good to not have a club and with him saying he d be open to any club.He could be so handy for us with simonson possibly on the out and dunster gone,he can cover so many positions and would be a great depth option and he wouldn't cost a lot.What do youse think?

theres certainly plenty of upside - he has speed, only 27, coming from penrith system know how to defend, he has a pretty good work ethic (averaged 16 hitups from 9 games / 148m per game / 3.3 tackle breaks)
I like Laurie. I'd take him. Before him though I'd try to secure Jake Averillo. If we can't get Averillo then yep let's try grab Laurie
On a reserve grade contract? Maybe, but he would have to offer something a younger player can't. Personally I prefer to see the Cup side filled with young players with potential.

Our starting back 5 look set, at least for 2026, unless Simonsson comes back big in contention. But baring that, we need 1 player, even 2 depending on departures, to be able to cover the back 5.
Twidle, Nanva and Richie Pensini are currently 3 of the Cup back 5. Loizou, Tago can stay, and if they do, maybe we need one more. But if one of Loizou/Tago leave, or both, we need to sign two players IMO.
Laurie and Ramsay would be great. Corey Allan too for 1 year is OK. Someone like that.
