Sean Russell the most hated eel on the roster. Ryles has given him the confidence to be a starter. He's taken that and run with it.
Give this loan with Pezet thing a chance and let's see what else happens around that before throwing all the toys out of the cot.

What impact does it have on the group, who saw DB dropped, a player who had given 9 seasons to this club - and 100% impacted this teams chance of winning - now seeing a player who definitely isnt committed to the club, come for the 5/8th jersey? Not even his natural position.
Pezet is not replacing Hawkins, he is playing first grade, Pezet coming to play backup makes even less sense than this deal.
What are the positives of this? We may win 2-3 more games in 2026, and that is a maybe.

yes still searching but not committing long term money to a player that might work or might not work. Need to assess Joash and Lorenzo more no need to rush into forcing them to play nrl. Their time will come.
