Why doubt Ryles ?

Lot of fans are upset with the one year Pezet deal, and I understand that. But let's look at the calls Ryles has made since joining the club.

Gutho and RCG getting moved on immediately got some backlash as well, big call but Ryles was correct. Lot of people didn't like this at the time.

Brought in his own group of players that fit the system he wants to play, might not be big names but they fit the style. Jack Williams Dylan Walker types.

Sean Russell the most hated eel on the roster. Ryles has given him the confidence to be a starter. He's taken that and run with it.

Give this loan with Pezet thing a chance and let's see what else happens around that before throwing all the toys out of the cot.

        • Locky was also halves level smart and he had a brilliant coach.  Makes a huge difference. There's been for more fullbacks fail at the transition than have been successful.

  • I do understand a bit more now footy Dean is going but last year was all about players committing to the club and the jersey seeing a guy doing one year then going to the donkies of all clubs after a full year of development put in by Parra kind of stinks I like Ryles and his coaching is starting to show improvement in the team especially defence but I just can't see this being accepted by the faithful if he is back up only and not taking the 6 spot maybe

  • 100% no notes! Thank the heavens there is some sense starting to prevail.

He has turned a basket case into a serious threat in 12 months.

    • Here's the thing but, injuries happen in the nrl. If Iongi picks up something Joash into flb and Pezet is there for 6. If Moses is hurt Pezet to 7 Joash to 6 and so on. He's going to help us

  • If he wanted a stop gap why not sign a versatile player like Averillo or whoever that can play 6 then move him into centre or wing when our juniors is ready. Atleast someone like that can benefit us after one year and provide coverage for that position if injuries come. I would have rather did that then sign a potential player to learn of us. Even Braith said it doesn't help our future

    • And apparently Tino is hitting the market come November 1 if we somehow, by some small miracle are able to sign him, I would be more happier

      • Melbourne or Parra lol I mean is it even a choice.

    • Braith also said it's about winning right now. Moses has said that before to. It's a balancing act maybe the club is doing this for Mitch

  • Between Ryles , O'Neill , Sarantonis and the board they have have proven they can't attract players unless they are players no other club wants .  Ryles you can cut some slack as he is still a rookie , but the rest have had many years to make Parramatta a attractive destination and all they have shown is that they are utterly useless , Parramatta is no more attractive than a group 6 side .

    • To atttract players we have to win games, no one wants to go to a wooden spoon team. We need to win more games to draw interest. Big names don't just go to clubs unless it's for 1.5 million and a holiday
