Sadly, I of the Loser Professor Wanker class, discovered that a mod deleted a post of mine. Said mod claims it was a total accident. The post was about Lomax being a tool and hopefully the court agrees. But who accepts accidents or coincidences these days? It was clearly a conspiracy and censorship! CLEARLY!
Which brings me to why it was TOTALLY FINE to censor me. Professors suck. Take it from me. All teachers are evil. OBVIOUSLY.

I'll start. We indoctrinate the youth. Specifically, we encourage them to think and use evidence when thinking. This is evil. Also, we are elitists. Just better than all other swine by saying "ya know is that rooly true". This is bad.
I'm calling for all mods to be banned for censoring me. This is not a contradiction because there are no contradictions. Why are you comparing different clauses in a sentence for consistency, that sounds like something a professor would do. And they're bad and evil.

I'm definitely disengaged because you keep trying to invoke the authority of other academics, in a thread where you are wondering why people think they suck. Argue your own ideas and I'll argue mine. Don't expect me to agree on your set of academic authority figures.
The problem with current intellectal authority is that things have begun to move so fast on almost every level of human endeavor, that nobody, not even those who specialize in any particular discipline can keep up. So there is some confliction that results in some folk throwing the baby with the bathwater...take Climate change. there are a lot of if's buts maybes around what's happening and what to do about it but the hard data, the scary data just gets ignored as more speculation. eg PIG (Pine Island Glacier) and Thwaits ice tounge. The PIG buttresses 10% of the West Antarctic Ice Sheet. 10 per fucking cent! They are collapsing, we cannot affect this process anymore. It's happening, only the timeframe is in doubt and it is definately accelerating....and as a peoplewe will not even have a discussion as to how Aust will deal with the aftereffects. We just keep buying trinkets and watching footy in vegas.

Probably true, Randy. Note the problem PouPou is going to have with that moving wall of knowledge. Faced by multiple authorities, Pou seems to want to delegitimate them all via worries about his own autonomy if he pays any of them any heed. This is a recipe for digging oneself into a hole
But, Pou, you're not arguing ideas. You're making claims that can't be supported and when this is pointed out you divert to a new claim which also cannot be supported.
Try and make at least one idea stick by, you know, making a sound argument for the idea. The irony here is that you keep claiming I am using argument from authority and your argument for this is argument from ignorance.
