Where do we see the EELS finishing?

I've got serious concerns with our middles. (And with Pezet). Unless we fix those glaring issues I can't see us making the 8.

Earlier prior to season starting and thinking that Lomax was still an Eel and the way they finished last year and the upbeat about Pezet signing I was thinking a definite top 8 maybe top 6 but now that Lomax has gone Pezet not being below average, Hopgood out for the year I'm leaning more towards the Eels finishing bottom 4 actually worse than last year maybe best same as last year

We are not a top 4 team. PVL ball 2.0 throws so many uncertainties. I can see us finishing anywhere between 5th and last.

With a little lucky we climb higher than last year, I'm guessing 8-9th. We've started much better than last year, so why shouldn't we be giving the 8 a nudge?

  We haven't lost our first 3/7 games like last year.
  
  All our rookies have 1 solid year of experience, and a full preseason in their positions
  
  We still have Mitch
  
  Our bench is now a strength, not a weakness.
  
  We don't have the media scrutiny like we had last year with Dylan Brown leaving.
  
  After this week is done, we have a good draw coming up to bank some wins against the Tigers, Titans, Sea Eagles, and Cowboys. All in Sydney too.
  
  If we keep our velocity, have some luck with injuries, I think we finish just inside the 8, fighting it out with Sharks, Souths, and Dolphins.

Well we aren't winning the comp so my high tide for this side is the top 8.Would it surprise me if we just missed no it wouldn't.This side has some glaring weaknesses and JR understands this.R and R need to get some wins off the park to get that high tide even higher.

all I can say around 12 -13th if he keeps picking players Brian Kelly to play in the team anywhere , what did Samrami do wrong that Kelly didnt do against the Storm , hasnt Ryles realised they are playing the Panthers , who on current form after 3 rounds will go through undefeated

dont even understand why the retention committee signed him , they must have hangover or something , personally Mark Oneill should be punted for being incompetent , he trades players like Utoikamanu to west tigers , because old players like Junior Paulo still hanging around , they lost young Talagi to penrith , what the fuck is our retention committee doing one mistake after another , we have gone back 20 years where we buy over the hill players because they are cheap , well to me it makes the club look cheap and they should be investing in all those jumiors we have just like Penrith do and have been for years
