Mitch hasn't looked happy & has made some telling comments.

Moses is on great money and has played like 12 games in 2 years or so. Not sure if he has much to be unhappy about 😂 it's basically his club just stay on the field
The only reason our wins are shit is because of Moses and his injuries , if he's unhappy he can look at his Australian and NSW jerseys he had to have . If he'd retired from rep footy , we'd be playing finals footy.
Injuries catch up eventually I'd suggest his first 5 seasons here Moses was pretty much injury free just got to hope we are on the other side of that ledger.
How much $$ Moses is on isn’t relevant, as Bup said, Moses is a competitor. He hates losing. Which is likely why he is so good & demands so much $$ in the first place.
Mitch has made plenty of comments that would suggest he doesn't see this as a long term rebuild.
When he signed on, he probably never expected Dylan to go, and he likely thought Galvin was a replacement when he did?
If your clubs on field success comes down to 1 player, and their injuries then that's on the club and recruitment, but truth is, the Eels haven’t been consistently competitive with or without Moses since 2022 - until the last month maybe?
This is what I meant about this ‘future is now’ being a balancing act. It’s not the young guys we should be worried about, it’s the experienced competitors who are being expected to stick around through a rebuild despite a complete lack of recruitment.
The future may be now but some of these players need results & hope now too, or our future may not include Moses & Lomax.

It doesn't look like it's going to be a long term rebuild, if Moses can at least stay on the field for 20 games next year they should be a decent shot of pushing for a top 8 spot. On the other side of the coin would the eels be better off using their 1.3 million on players who don't miss 3/4s of the season ? Maybe it could be mutually beneficial if he's moved on similar to the knights and ponga

"Simmo has created this childish situation and made this about himself not the team - the exact thing Jason has been been working on since Nov last year! A team first mentality, if people don't get this simple concept then don't comment."

He's a competitor who wears his heart on his sleeve, competitors want to win.
Have a look at our win column the last few years.
He has plenty to be unhappy about.
If he stays on the field we are in a much better position this season. Unfortunately his body is letting him down that's not on the club.

💯 Gutho was the same by any means necessary.
See the same in Lomax aswell nothing seems to be quiet good enough.
