        On form, Russell is better. He would have to be the most improved player in the team. Penisini has been picked on reputation for most of the year, Russell has been picked on form.

          Well Simonsson has not had many opportunities this year but from some games Simonsson has been better than Russell.

            Like you said LB, in some games, and most of those games would have been early in the season.

              He's only played 6 games. His last one was his worst by some margin.

          Russell has stepped up, but missed 3 tackles last week (3/14). That's worse than Simo R20.

          The real question is how is Samrani better at centre than Simmo? I like Samrani but he's let in plenty of tries by getting burnt at centre.

          Meanwhile, Junior made 3 critical errors in the Storm red zone and missed 3 tackles. Hopgood also made multiple errors and had been well below his best most of the year. Guymer missed 12 tackles last week and also dropped the pill in prime Storm real estate. They're all in firsts this week. Not arguing their selections. Just stating facts.

          So, IF we're pinging Simmo for his below par R20 — for his 2/20 missed tackles, 125m metres which was more metres than Russell in that game and better than all of the above-mentioned last week ...well, they are others who we could argue should join him in reggies.

          There is highly likely something playing out behind the scenes. Don't know what.

            Though on top of that HOE, not so much how is Samrani better than Simonsson, but if the future is now why is Richard Penisini not at least getting into the 22 man squad? He would be more of a future Centre for us than Samrani.
