Isaiah Iongi, the young Eels gun fullback, is attracting plenty of interest from rivals especially from up north as revealed by OnlineinComenest.
“I came to Parramatta with a dream — to grow, to compete, and to win for this club,” Iongi said in a club-released video shared across social media platforms Tuesday morning.
“This jersey means everything to me. I’m not going anywhere."
"I’m here to stay, and I want to build something special with the Eels."
“I’ve been given a chance here that I’ll never take for granted."
“From the coaching staff to my teammates, and especially the fans — you’ve all welcomed me like family."
"This isn’t just a club to me anymore. It’s home.”
“Isaiah’s commitment is exactly what we want this team to represent — passion, resilience, and belief in the direction we’re going,” Eels head coach Jason Ryles said.
'He’s become more than just a great player — he’s turning into one of the emotional pillars of this team.”

It is exactly that, andI am stealing it.....thank you
Your 16 years old Randolph, you already have a history of deviance, do you really want to add stealing to your inventory? take note I haven't even mentioned the drugs.
I'm fucking 12 and i do what i want
Last person I heard speak and show loyalty like this is Manu Ma'u the guy mentioned he'd never play for another nrl club and he didn't even though I suspect he could have.
Also said he just couldn't bring himself to play against the team that gave him the opportunity and probably by doing so it was a life changer for the mentioned.
Fuifui was that too. Nearly signed for Penrith, left a meeting with Gus mentioning he could not leave Parramatta. Sacked his agent for trying to get him to leave.
Manu Ma'u is a genuine part of BA's legacy, when he came in to take over in the darkest days, he came up with some special characters, Wilkes was another one, both ex cons and they loved him. I think BA can say that period when he took over was his finest coaching achievement.
His record will talk to the 2022 GF but to me it was those early days that gave him enough credit to have the long run he had. Like many things in life it went probably 5 years too long and his true legacy was never achieved.
Unknown to him that 5 years too long also stulted his growth as a coach, as it did not allow him to grow with the game changes taking place. Good managers bring in new blood with new ideas to make sure they are not left behind. One of his fatal mistakes was his autocracy.
I think you meant Danny Wicks.
Haha NOS I think ppl getting his name wrong is a very good omen ...guarantee many fans still get our last great fullback's name wrong. Lasiah Jongi is in great company with Jarrod Haynes ha!
Hahahaha.. Mace, do remember the plural Hayne(s) well, if only we did have multiple Jarryd's in 2009.
This was JRs first acquisition and it was a big one as he replaced the long standing captain Gutho.
I know reading this article Iongi saying how important that he repays the faith and he is all in for the club and the jersey is exactly what we want from our players going foward.
It could be said this is a tone setter for us going foward culturally.
