Isaiah Iongi, the young Eels gun fullback, is attracting plenty of interest from rivals especially from up north as revealed by OnlineinComenest.
“I came to Parramatta with a dream — to grow, to compete, and to win for this club,” Iongi said in a club-released video shared across social media platforms Tuesday morning.
“This jersey means everything to me. I’m not going anywhere."
"I’m here to stay, and I want to build something special with the Eels."
“I’ve been given a chance here that I’ll never take for granted."
“From the coaching staff to my teammates, and especially the fans — you’ve all welcomed me like family."
"This isn’t just a club to me anymore. It’s home.”
“Isaiah’s commitment is exactly what we want this team to represent — passion, resilience, and belief in the direction we’re going,” Eels head coach Jason Ryles said.
'He’s become more than just a great player — he’s turning into one of the emotional pillars of this team.”

Thanks for the link Coryn. Gave me goosebumps. Wow. What a young man. A Class act. A rare, rare find. This is the kind of player Parra needs like oxygen. Forget the Galvins and Talagis.
Hoe, is there any way you could confirm that Ionghi actually said these glorious things? The site the quote is from seems sleazy (online-income-nest.com) and was mainly concerned with NFL.
Randy, good question.
I'm not sure. We could ask the club. You'd think this would be all over the Parramatta social media, or Fox, wouldn't you?
I found an exact copy'n'paste here at Sport Guru News.

PS: I don't do a lot of social media other than for communicating with friends.

'This isn't a club to me anymore, it's home'.
Love this kid. What a signing he has & will be.
We'll remember the name Lasiah Jongi for a long time, Coryn.
100% Nos. Well said, buddy. Players & characters like Iongi are what you build a club on.
Absolutely HOE, how refreshing to hear this from one of our young players.
Who was the last player to speak like this of our club at 21? Half of them dont even speak like this of the club in their late 20's on 700+ grand a year.
Iongi, Smith, even Katouga, these guys are giving it everything & its great to watch their progress.
The least we can do is support the transition through the losses.
Do feel Lomax, Williams, JAC & Walker have been huge for this club & for the younger players also? All 4 seem like ultra competitors and professionals.
Traits that are infectious.
Good to see you back, HOE.
Just need some strike players added and the club will be back to where it needs to be. I'd love a David Fifita type pickup. Titans a mess
Absolutely, NOS. New recruits Lomax, Williams, JAC & Walker have been great for the club & young guys coming through. Love the talk in the team too.
The Ryles Rebuild, R&R & Development, isn't finished yet. We need more astute moneyball types (can't win them all) and quality character qualification. But it's heading in the right direction, for now.
TPAs, aka rorting the cap (businessmen are in out of passion for a club not to make a fortune), would help. But I'm not sure we're ready for that yet.
We just need to start to post more wins. A win on Sunday would've really been useful
Lol funny you say that last part HOE, as on Tiktok his ex gf is going on a smear campaign about Iongi saying once he got famous he had affairs and took fame over his 3 year relationship. Then another girl was brought into it and she showed messages with her and Isaiah showing nothing happened etc. All happened before Newcastle game as they were both seen going out somewhere week before on insta to now nothing.
But doesn't seem to effect him, he has gotten better and better since Newcastle game lol. Maybe not let date your daughter but let him teach her how to play.
I saw that as well haha, his ex is trying to sue him for SA
