Claiming the offer of $300k was a great deal and we can put that into our junior system. The irony in all this is that more freedom, fewer boundaries, does not automatically lead to more harmony or contentment. Often, the opposite.

It is interesting how some 1EE posters on TCT are perfectly respectful and steer clear of politics, yet here it seems to always escalte into socio-poltical warzones and dog fights.
Apparently, that's consistent with many studies, but I do not need them to tell me what I see with my own eyes.
In a strange way, it even echoes the Lomax saga, the debate about contract boundaries, and whether clubs sometimes feel pressured by larger forces who don't treat others' boundaries with as much respect.
At some point, you either accept that. Roll over. Or you decide to stand your ground, even if it costs you a few friends along the way. I'm glad the club isn't rolling over.
