Worst forward pack ever in team history?

Think this pack we rolling out on Sunday is worst in club history?

Paulo slow and old

Smith can't pass from dummy half

Moretti not fit enough to start

Williams down year from last season

Guymer starting back row first time ever

Walker better off the bench

Da Silva only good player who is dangerous

De Belin just way past it

Pryde a making debut

Matale playing his 2nd game

Not sure even worth watching game Sunday

  • Yes unless you consider the teams that rest the full team and play their nsw cup team at the end of a year.

  • Yeah prob matches what is possibly the greatest amount of injuries we've ever had too.

Ado, Ryley Paulo Moses carrying some injuries too

however, walker should be on bench

    • Yeah would start De Belin and have Walker for some impact with tired middle

  • Just give the Dogs 2 points and call the game off. It's absolutely ludicrous by the NRL to even have this match when most of the regular Eels team is out injured. Any further Eels injuries means Jersey Flegg vs NRL 1st.Grade..So utterly stupid!

    • That has to be the most scariest thing to happen, but could pivot so much in growth of our younger guys. Everything happens for a reason.

      • Have you ever played footy 101?  I only ask because you don't seem to understand that getting pumped & crushed over & over does not help growth or development.

I get that you're trying to find a silver lining in this shit-cloud but it's not there dude...it's just shit right through

        • Your kinda both right

It can be beneficial 2000/2002 panthers blooded a lot of young players before they were ready then added some experience and 03 they were unbeatable

That been said if players are getting flogged week in week out then it can just as quickly end their career

  • Smith is playing injured and we don't have anybody in cup to give him a rest

    • I pointed this out in pre-season but people like Poppa thought I was wrong lol

      • People like Poppa, I doubt it EA.....no one likes Poppa.....but that said I am not here to win a popularity contest. If I was then I would not go around challenging you blokes who have been watching the game for 5 minutes and think they know everything about the sport or more particular any sport..... your not a school teacher as well are you EA.

Well we would have had Walker if we had no forwards falling over right left and centre.

That said how many hookers can you fit in when you have no depth across the park.....last thing we need at the moment is worrying about that. If you wanted to get a middle who could also play hooker it would also have been a smart move, but we can all be smart arses in hindsight.
