Listening to Journos pod, apparently Lomax is still mulling over whether to stay or leave for R 360. Eels apparently are not fazed if he decides to leave as it opens up cap space for other signings. Have to wait and see what happens

Does anyone give any credibility to reports the Eels would "not be fazed" if Lomax left? Lomax made SOO and the Kangaroos (before withdrawing), is in the Top 20 metres per game and runs per game, is a first or second choice goal kicker, can play wing or centre, is a constant aerial target and good one-on-one defender.
I don't know why fans eat up click bait from the media. Last we actually heard directly from Lomax, which was afew weeks back at the Dally M awards, he explicitrly said he is commotted to seeing out his contract (runs until end of 2028) and said there is no truth to the rumours. Then his manager said he would not shop his players to R360.
Defections and blindsides are possible. See Dylbag$. But that's alot of "nothing to see here" from the Lomax camp.
Reckon he stays lomax. Good coin , in elite level these days , we are progressing nicely and I honestly believe we will compete for a premiership in 2026 and 2027. We need one of the mentioned possible signings to happen and I believe we are the big improvers in 2026. My hope would be keon , Nelson or a an out and out centre . Moses not getting game time but mixing with the games elite was perfect. He will be in for a cracking year .
Have you seen that we did not resign many of our JF graduates. Disappointed we didnt keep Dom De Stradis. Going to Redcliffe. Looks like T Brown is the only JF graduate we have kept. Neemia, Samuela, Spence, Lynn, Lewis, Raf De Stradis, Samuela, etc all look to be out.
Why is that EA?
Dom De Stradis reminds of Briton Nikora. Wish we tried to see if he could make it in the NRL. The others leaving doesn't bother me as I don't think they will make the NRL. These bunch are from a very successful group of juniors coming through (some obviously left to other clubs)
Mate , lot of Sg ball players moved on to other clubs already . Kids these days won't wait if they can not see a direct path to nrl . Everyone of the sg ball players doing the nrl pre season are all capable of playing nrl . This next 6 weeks is absolutely essential to their development and for the club to be nrl ready .
Other than Farrugia and Johnasson, not sure if any other SG ball players have left us?
I really wanted Popo and Petrus to get a pre season.
