THE BADGE CONNECTS US ALL

The James Hardie Centre of Excellence was buzzing today when 150 Parramatta Eels players from across five grades came together for a whole-of-club training session.

From Harold Matthews and SG Ball to the U16s Development, NSW Cup and NRL squads, the Blue & Gold filled four fields, rotating through skills and drills as one connected system. It was a rare and powerful sight — the entire Eels men’s pathway united on the training paddock.

More than just a session, the day was a statement of who we are as a Club. Regardless of age or experience, every player trained with the same pride, purpose and belief, wearing the badge that connects generations of Eels.

Seeing the depth of talent across all grades reinforced what makes Parramatta special: a strong, united pathway built on shared standards and shared ambition. Source : parraeels.com.au

    • At least the joint is well insulated and won't catch on fire

  • I am a 45 year old supporter BUT im sorry James Hardie as the naming sponsor Infinitum is a fucking disgrace .....Rest well Bernie

Sorry to your post this connects f all ...............

  • Id like to congeste the club on a great initiative to have every age group together- well done.

    • Congeste? Is that French for congratulate?

    • Chiefy, agree mate. Great stuff. 150 different players together. Same time. Same place. Same badge. From U16's Harold Matthews to first grade. What more could we ask for? That is, if we really want unity & a club aligned.

    • You won't get folks to pipe down about James Hardies "very sensitive past and present"...It is sensitive because they behaved so poorly throughtout the whole process that they destroyed all goodwill toward them. This name attachment is a needless image association risk that our board chose, and, like a lot of our antics, it is kind of embarrassing.

Hardies are paying us to rehab their grubby image....us....imagine how desperate they are

        • Yes I understand where you're coming from, but the blog started with the words "The James Hardie Centre of Excellence". It associates with everything after. just like Hardies wanted...indeed what they paid for. Well, here it is. this is it. It comes the way that it is,...it won't stay politely in it's lane.

There are many ways to give the club the idea and when renewal time comes around, they look for a new major sponsor. They didn't listen when they were warned that it may tarnish our image so now this is what we get

  • Makes me so warm and fuzzy 😆

"Simple really until the club and  team change the narrative the questions will continue to be rehashed and asked.
All I'm hoping for is DB doesn't have a career performance against his old club a club he should still be at but alas he isn't.

"That should not be the responsibility of the head coach,  if he wants that responsibility it should be denied.  The head coach already has enough on his plate."

"A safe bet is we will let in at least 20 points.
The Knights defence isn't spectacular so if we get an even share and complete well we may actually outscore them.
Scoreline 28 -22 either way."
