Thank you GUSSY! The Galvin effect.

How bad is he, I thought he was playing good in a bad team but I'm starting to think the tigers are just that bad he looked ok, The Galvin effect is in full swing you can tell the players and coach are sick of answering questions they don't look happy as a team anymore they look like a team that are left in the dark about who is playing where each week I've always thought he is going to regret this decision he will start hating his footy again they are playing worse with him coming on looking like a deer in headlights hopefully gus has finally seen him.

  • 1. Galvin is a good player and has the talent to be great

    2. But there are plenty of youngsters who have that and end up not making it

    3. One of the reasons for not making it is trying to be the main man too early and believing your own hype

He can't escape the pressure. He chose the pressure.

  • Don't judge Galvin on this year. Dogs bought him for next year & beyond. They needed to secure him early so he didn't sign elsewhere. I'm just very interested in how they use him in the finals. I agree with Brandy that he's not in the best 17. The Dogs may see that as part of his development to not expect a walk up start & he will need to work hard for it.

    • He should be in their NSW Cup team. That's exactly where Ciraldo looked straight into a camera and said he would start. Next minute, he's being shoehorned into a team that was cruising. They've dead set detailed the chance they had to win the comp this year and I for one couldn't be happier.

  • I can see Galvin and his his school coach playing the song lover lover lover you don’t treat me no good no more, Galvin has been sold a dummy the club is imploding he doesn't suit there game plan one bit they just wanted the new toy on the market now they realise it doesn't work haha. It makes you realise sexton is actually going ok, also they will lose reed too! They are part of the reason they are going so well.

  • Galvin is no where near elite like it was made out to be, he could do 5 fuck ups and then one play that comes off and everyone blows their load over him.(media)

he doesn't make others better around him , he cramps teams attack with too much side ways movements , he plays for himself and the highlight reels and not for the team ... and he is slow as fuck

also seems a entitled little twat throwing his hands when he gave shit passes and didn't come off with his teammates not taking them

  • The kennels having a meltdown

  • Everywhere Gus goes he eventually overstays his welcome. It happened at the Roosters, at Penrith and it's happening again at the Dogs. However everywhere he goes that club does have Premiership success......after they fire Gus. He does a lot of great stuff early on and makes some tough calls. He clearly gets the club set up for success. But it seems obvious that Gus is also a control freak and his chaos eventually leads to his demise at the club. Gus believes he just sign Brad Fittler 2.0. Time will tell on that one. I'm not judging Galvin on anything just yet. What we're watching is Gus's patented chaos unfold. It's a team sport and the dogs team was rolling along smoothly, now players are being shown the door, moved positions, uncertain futures. I predict Ciraldo will eventually demand Gus be shown the door so he can be 100% in charge. When that happens and the team is settled again they'll probably win a comp.

"If he wasnt released mid season , they would have tried very hard for next year. Have a feeling that's why richo released him early so dogs couldn't get him as they would have no cap or spots for this year"
