The Eels’ brand new recruit Tallyn Da Silva will make his club debut this weekend according toCode Sports. That decision is made easy for coach Jason Ryles given the suspension of Ryley Smith. Da Silva will have had two weeks with his new side before making his debut, having signed a four-and-a-half year deal worth a reported $650,000 per-season. Bailey Simonsson is close to returning and should come straight back in at centre with Will Penisini serving a suspension that ends in a couple of weeks.

He'll be right for Australia when they come calling. Doubt cleary will play for aus in October.

Considering he couldn't knock Api off his perch or at minimum convince the Tigers they need him , I wonder if he's another Galvin type hype . Was only a big deal as it was close to June 30 AND the media were starved of content so made a huge deal out of another Tigers " superstar " walking out ?

The first report that I heard was $1.5m for 3 seasons, with the last year on $650k. I assume it's 1st year $350k, 2nd year $500k, 3rd year $650k.
