The Eels’ brand new recruit Tallyn Da Silva will make his club debut this weekend according toCode Sports. That decision is made easy for coach Jason Ryles given the suspension of Ryley Smith. Da Silva will have had two weeks with his new side before making his debut, having signed a four-and-a-half year deal worth a reported $650,000 per-season. Bailey Simonsson is close to returning and should come straight back in at centre with Will Penisini serving a suspension that ends in a couple of weeks.

I was hoping Jason start him straight away
When Penisini come back baring injuries make him play in
VB cup make him earn hes way back
Just hope Moses and Lomax playing
Lomax will, Moses No
yeah Mosses had always declared round 20 he will be back
2 weeks with his new side?? Is that correct? Can't understand Moses not playing. He's basically had a year off and getting paid big $$$. Not many people get paid full salary for having sickness time off. Once their sick days are gone it's all over and back to work regardless or lose your job
Is their a salary cap exemption if players miss a certain percentage of games? If not it wouldn't be a bad idea. The player still gets paid but only a percentage of it is counted on the salary cap.
Should be as in most jobs once your sick days run out you either go back to work ( sick or not) or you use what super or health insurance cover you have if any
Thing is he is not sick . Technically its a work related injury so I would imagine its like compo . But who knows how they deal with it i do know they have work related insurance
Would not shock me if Moses took the rest of the year off . That's what they did last year once it was evident the season was cooked . He was supposed to use the time to recuperate and get fresh for this season . We know how that played out . Was a kick in the teeth to hear him say he was in full training preparing for Mals call up for the last few months of the comp.
Moses didn't take the year off as last year was finished, he tore his bicep.
He'll be right for Australia when they come calling. Doubt cleary will play for aus in October.
