Usually when Parra resign a "top" junior it's after they miss out on securing a first grader, I hope they don't rollover to Melbourne.

We must have a number of world class juniors all of a sudden, with so many signed to our future NrL squad.
From reading the EA/SB blog, our SG Ball team is stacked with aforesaid talent.
Now, the big question is do we pick the right ones and do they indeed develop into very good FGers at least (hopefully Origin regulars).
Yep that is the question. They can show whatever they like in the juniors but it does not matter unless they continue developing into proper FGers. I assume most of these players will. We wont be able to keep them all. I also think we will see depth players like Guymer, Mataele, etc leave the club to lock down a permanent NRL spots if they cant do it here. I expect this to be the regular now.
Just for this year I expect us to let go Matto, Tago, Volkman, Mataele and then Russel & Pezet are gone. Then Tuilagi & Guymer will probably wait to see how much NRL gametime they get and make a decison based on that. From my understanding that means we got 19 people on top 30 contracts next year (incl. JDB). Even with a couple of resignings, we got plenty of spots for juniors and external players.
Why is this a big deal? Is he any good?
