  I don't think Cleary will play against the Eels this weekend.

  There was probably no intention of him ever playing.

  I have no doubt after this game and the NSW loss the narrative around Cleary will be the continuation of his previous injury or him incurring a new one to justify him not delivering a game winning decider.

  Edwards was very dependable at the back for NSW but they really miss that explosive acceleration you need from a rep level fullback to blow the game open.

  Id imagine his time in the blue jumper is rapidly coming to an end.

      I think there's a bit to that Wiz, you hear rumours about players saying to management they won't play if a certain player is selected.

      Qlders who would choose to play for their state over country , half of NSW who would choose to play for Samoa.

      There might be a bit in that when it comes to the squad gelling.

      Whatever it was we were disjointed, disconnected and lacked clear leadership.

      Joeys been saying for years this is Clearys team, he just doesn't own it or the result.

      No matter the coach Cleary should be directing the team on the field but he just remains passive, he's not a general at rep level you don't see him barking instructions and when under pressure he runs it on the fifth .

      He seems to struggle with the pace of origin more then most halves when it comes to their usual game , he struggles to adapt to less time with the ball and it highlights his bad habits.
