        • Bourbon, I think you’re completely missing the point.

Sarantinos sits above the entire football operation, from the Flegg coach right through to the General Manager of Football. O’Neill reports directly to him — that’s the structure, full stop.

Now, I’m not saying Sarantinos personally makes every football decision. That’s not how a CEO operates. But if the people underneath him aren’t delivering, it’s his responsibility to address it. If O’Neill isn’t meeting his KPIs, Sarantinos has the authority to make changes. That’s literally part of his job.

So whether Sarantinos makes every decision himself is irrelevant. He is ultimately accountable for the people and football operation under him. The buck stops with the CEO.

Is that really so difficult to understand?

I’ve made my point. The ball’s in your court now.

          • You have made the point, but you don't understand it Chiefy.

You can blame Saratinos but to disrespect and belittle him, you do nothing of understanding what statesmanship is actually about.

Move on, you are out of your depth when talking to or about people like him, who subjectively is probably about 100 times more conversant in being a CEO and what his responsibities are.

Your problem seems to be by telling every one he is what you state, some sort of answer to your problem.

            • Pops, why don't you do something useful and offer your driving services to the fox. Instead,  you masquerade around here trying to be relevant.

  • If I'm honest I do like what Leniu brings that aggressiveness and the fake tough guy outlook but I think we missed a trick when we lost out to the Dragons with Kolomatangi I think he's the guy a prototypical modern day middle with a big motor the right temperament and eats up yards. He's a guy you can build a foward pack around and he steps right into Junior Paulo's starting spot tomorrow.

Leniu to me hasn't proven he can carry a foward pack and be that guy.IMO he's Robin, what Parra needs is Batman.

  • Heard it was a 1 year deal

    • You've said this about 5 times all over the place and you're fucking wrong. It's 3-4 years, sucked in Malle boy.

      • How about we make it 6 times just for the fun of it! I heard it's only a 1 year deal! 🤨

  • I will say this again and again...

I HOPE WE DON'T SIGN HIM.

All these people on here saying we need a middle forward, an 'enforcer'. Y'all need to watch all his games. This guy is useless. Not worth the money.

    • I'd be surprised if the Eels recruitment sign anyone else for 2027. The only one so far is Sua from Dragons and that will be it! Oh and the new Assistant Coach

  • Hopefully we do sign him as long as it isn't for 1 yr as they don't work. we need some aggression in the forwards as we don't have any.

JAccording to Weidler,  Josh Addo-Carr has booked himself into a rehabilitation clinic on the Central Coast. What does this mean?An admission of guilt? The life and times of being a Parramatta Eels supporter.   We can't stand for this bs
