George Jennings can still get drawn in on a blindside play lol. He is horrendous. We shouldn't be persisting with him.
Ethan Parry is a very very average player. I'm unsure what the coaching staff sees in him. He's a poor mans Blake Ayshford. Ditto Jaemon Salmon who looked well off the speed even at this level.
RCG looked great. Michael Jennings was good. Most of the other first graders just went through the motions.

Neither of the tries on George Jennings side were his fault. On both occasions his inside man was beaten on the outside, in that situation he can't detach until his centre releases him.

I had a whinge to my son about George in how he never stays out and always comes in. Two tries on his side last night. Mid second half he got the ball and was put into touch almost without a struggle. My son looked at me and said, he doesn't always come in. :)
Trial first and foremost, but In a way Parra should have been drilling their D all summer long. That's where we really really struggled last year, especially away from home. So although you can't read to much info a trial, still can't help but think it's the same old Parra. Implode when the going gets tough
The defence around the ruck and through the middle wasn't too bad. There are trys aplenty for any level going at George Jennings. He got drawn in on a shortside play as he does in the first half and gave the opposition winger too much space for a 2nd half try. He also ran over the sideline with the ball in his hands in attack... i'm not sure if he could see where it was in the lights or if he's completely retarded. Maybe a bit of both.
The other trys so far were from Salmon not cleaning up a grubber and a soft one for Jack Johns whre Marata overplayed it close to the line.

Agree, he's a real weak link.

What a stupid headline! This is not even close to being our First Grade Squad.
I might be wrong, but i don't think the great Winx won a trial ever!
