I'm sure I noticed something during the round 2 game vs the Bulldogs and I'm confident I have seen the same player do something similar in previous games. The player I'm talking about is Mitchell Moses and I'm sure I seen him screeming at one of his Eels teammates because he wasn't happy with a pass thrown to him. Normally a playmaker might say something about poor service and move on, but Moses continued for several minutes. If I remember correctly it was late in the 1st half and the Eels were attacking the Bulldogs line. It was early in the tackle count when Moses recieved the bad pass and I believe he took no further part in the remaining tackles of the set. Luckily Dylan Brown took control of the remaining plays and I'm sure he earnt the team a repeat set with a kick on the last tackle and the Bulldogs player getting tackled in goal. I can't recall exactly how much input Moses had in the following set.
I completely understand that Moses is a very passionate player, but playing in his position he must learn to just have his say and and move on. Yelling abuse at someone that makes a mistake does nothing but make that person feel bad and lower his confidence. Constructive criticism is something Moses needs to practise...........IN MY OPINION!

Yeah slippery , i too have observed his yelling in previous games , but hell i suppose what ever it takes for a winning formula but i do understand where you're coming from.
Its professional sport. These guys practice this shit 1000 times a week then someone fails to execute. Get up them (as long as its not way over the top). If they cant handle a spray they can go do something else. It's time everyone at Parra holds themselves and each other to a high standard.
Its all fine as long as he can take it as well.
Question is did anyone shout abuse at him when the dickhead kicked out on the full?
No didn’t think so. If you’re going to berate your fellow team mates, you better make sure you can practice what you preach.
Boooooooom!!l LOL Standing ovation for Poppa!
Just shows he cares mate. No offence would have been taken. Sterlo used to give it to his forwards at times as did Johns.
Yep Michael, one of the biggest shouters I remember is King Wally. There were several occassions when he'd drpped the ball and give a big a spray to whoever was in shouting distance.
Agree here Poppa. We don't know what the culture within the team is vis-a-vis reacting to a bad play which had been practiced many times over. For all we know this type of behaviour may be encouraged rather than frowned upon.
BTW - I think the player in question here is Mannah. So he probably had a good chat to himself.
I’d say it’s a habitual thing with Moses and not exclusive to this year.
Saw him doing it a heap last year too so he’s definitely got form.
I did see it happen & I thought the same. I hope he changes that really quickly because it's not a good look & it can't help team moral. A quick word to the player that threw the bad pass is enough, continuing to go at him can put us back to last year really quickly. Moses needs to be a man manager as well as a half back.
