Do we really need that side of marketing for our club ???? Can't we just focus on playing good footy week in and out and having well prepared and rested players .

Vegas is one place I haven't been too and it's high on my list of cities I want to visit. I would be extremely surprised if I'm not in Vegas when the Eels are there. I doubt I would be as keen if I had already been to Vegas. Ideally, Vegas could have a big fight ( boxing ) scheduled sometime close to the NRL weekend.
Same reasons for me. Ill be doing my best to get there

Carlo, I am like you and think its not worth the cost etc. The US will not take to the game as PVL thinks; as they have football / baseball / Basketball lodged firmly into their DNA. I also am not keen for us to have a home game taken their, let alone the cost to watch a game etc. But hey PVL is running the game as he thinks.....

Ha, we will see. Do you honestly believe most coaches would sacrifice a home game for this? Honestly...besides the fanfare etc and the NRL spin......
Who cares if they don't take to it like those sports it will still bring some interest to the game
PVL isn't trying to convert Americans to RL. But he is interested in their gambling money.
