I think Sandon wont come to us as he be thinking he our 2rd choice but as they said on NRL360 Hes a good player and he will leave now if a NRL spot came up and its just down road so not far from home
And getting one back off panthers

On SEN today, Jimmy Smith reported that Isaac Moses returned to Parramatta on Sunday and stated that Galvin has not signed with Canterbury. He added that if you increase the offer, you can still have him, but Ryles placed a cap on the amount offered, and Matthew Beach supported his coach, they did not make another offer.
Said that we would sign Sandon Smith on a 1 year deal because he wants to test the market with new clubs coming in and is unsure about Parra.
Even the Eels aren't convinced about him.
1 year for Sandon Smith would be great. Allows the youngsters to really stake a claim during this year and 2026, and then by middle of 2026 if Sandom Smith is becoming integral for us or no junior is rising up we can through a good chunk of the cap at him.
Probably smith waiting for Perth buying to fire up won't prices jump for halves then?
If Parra aren't convinced with Smith, they shouldn't sign him. You don't sign players you are not convinced about, shows desperation. If they are using Smith as a 1 year deal til Talataina is ready, I would rather them just blood Talataina.
We need an experience 6 or utility not someone that has played a handful of games. We already have potential in our ranks.
