Parramatta Eels extend Sam Tuivaiti
The Parramatta Eels are pleased to announce that rising forward Sam Tuivaiti has extended his contract with the Club for a further three years, committing his future to the Blue and Gold until the end of the 2030 season.
A product of the Parramatta Eels Academy, Tuivaiti has progressed through the Club’s pathways system and established himself as one of the most promising young forwards in the game.

Parramatta Eels General Manager of Football Mark O’Neill said the extension reinforces the Club’s commitment to developing and retaining its best young talent.

“It’s always incredibly rewarding when a player who has come through our Junior League and Academy commits their future to the Eels,” O’Neill said.

“Sam and his family have proudly been part of our community for years and he has thoroughly deserved every opportunity he has received. He’s a big, powerful prop who brings plenty of energy and aggression to his football, and we believe he has a very bright future ahead of him.

“Just as importantly, Sam represents our Club values exceptionally well, and we’re excited to see his continued development over the coming years.”

Tuivaiti played a key role in the Eels’ 2023 SG Ball premiership winning team, eventually making his NRL debut in 2025. On the representative stage, he played for the Australian Schoolboys in 2022 and NSW U19s in 2023 and 2024.

  • There was no talk about him whatsoever about his contract and how it should be. Fair deal for everyone. He showed he can be a 50min Prop in the game. Just needs to get over the injuries but that will happen the more his body gets used to NRL.

Where's Chief? He predicted months ago MON would stuff this up leading to PNG getting him.

    • Chief is busy working out how he can blame someone for this...

    • Na, I said Sarantinos and Sam's management were not close, and Sam's manager suggested he would not sign until Sarantinos was out the door.   Heard that months back.

      • Also my contacts say you had BA and MON over for a BBQ and beers last week Chief? Care to comment?

        • 10501607482?profile=RESIZE_400xNo doubt about it Chiefy, you hear some wonderful things.

I can only guess at such a conversation of Tuvaiti's management saying that, yep anything you want Sam, we will sack Saratinos who as CEO can sack anybody and then sign your boy!

The BBQ that LB suggests probably took place in your mind as well, trying to make it known to one and all was a mastersroke in your fantasy Chiefy! Masterbation is a completely normal thing Chiefy, no need to hind behind your fantasies!

          • Why do ypu think all these signings are coming to fruition after the great one -Sarantinos had been sacked Popo?

You don't have to have a rocket engineering degree to work that out.

Mark O’Neill is next to face the music as soon as Rush gets his visa cleared up

            • Probably because its nearly NOV1 and guess what Sua, Lienu and Luai were all signed on Saratino's watch, why are you so obsessed with blame Chiefy? Maybe you could ask the shrink are few basic questions and see if he can get these sort of things out of your head......Gentle has been signed on your watch Chiefy and you reckon MON will be gone as soon as Rush get's his visa cleared up? hmmm....doesn't look like it?

            • Players don't give a fuck who the CEO is. Or the GM. They care about who they'll be working with, which is the other players and the coach. Our best signing in recent years was Lomax who came because of the coach - not the CEO or the GM. When that coach was replaced, Lomax fucked off.

        • BA was the DJ and Mon was there to active the smoke machine.   Mon also got up to make a speech about the state of the Eels, said he was eagerly looking to return Jack Cini and Isaac Lumelume back into the fold to booster our outside back department  and make Parramatta great again lol 😂😍😍😍🤣😂😍😍😍😂😂😂😂😂😂

          • You can be the only one laughing at that Chief.......where do you think all these signings came from, I think we will get Burton and again I know Saratinos put in a lot of work there!

Little bit worried about Penrith snatching back Burton and dumping Talagi on us.....Wiz could be on to something there.

If that is true it will be one of the great "pants pulling down exercise" you will ever see. Burton going back to Penrith will be the masterstroke of all time and also guess what, he would be playing 5/8 and Penrith know what he can do.....we will offer more money but not 5/8 (at least not in the first year).
