Kitione was superb last night. His defence and go forward were spot on and he was close to best on field. Displayed a great motor. Played the entire game with excellent intent. Our future is looking bright!

alot like his fellow compatriot Kikau, can play great one week, then do stupid things another week, then goes MIA again.
Agree he was good last night, put alot in for his country, need to see that for the eels
I am not sure he has not put in for the Eels, lots of his mistakes probably come from trying too hard.
His future is going to be driven by Ryles and how he is coached, by taking the mistakes out of him, he need's to be careful we don't blunt his natural ability i.e. he has a killer offload, this season i noticed he is more careful as to unleasing it.....I have this picture of him sitting down with Ryles, one on one reviewing the video and Ryles slapping him over the ear with " not now dopey"! LOL
PS His defence has lateral ability as well, where lots of these islanders don't have it. Kikau in comparison has it at both level's but he plays much wider than KK. If KK got that wide he would be more damaging but less effective from a perspective where Parra notoriously opens up.....yes fitness will make or break him, if he is going to be great!
Interesting to see him and Sua and how they look on their respective left and right sides.
Kautoga has natural ability to be one of the best edge back-rowers in the game. He possess an offload, can pass, run a great line and can provide heavy first contact in defence. I also find he can get through 80mins most weeks.
The issue with Kautoga is attitude when fatigued, he can be very lazy. He got hooked twice this year. That needs to get out of his game as he can give up easily. He has so much talent though he could be amazing.
The clocking off in games, and that he sometimes has feet for hands sometimes are the things limiting his progression i reckon.
