  • He's really good to listen to.

Interesting what he's saying about how if these rules persist there will be changes to recruitment, with the small utility forward less important and the big man gaining prominence.

We have plenty of both in the youth setup.

    • Anything about the back 5 improving that ?

      • It's about a 10 minute listen, find out for yourself

          • That is why the only media I really listen to is post match. Everything else is just professional talk.

  • I find it strange he talks about needing the big men in the game yet he's consistently left out player like Mataele and Brown when we could of used a prop on the bench

  • His two comments about the Manly and Warriors games were spot on - we were in both games until half time (possession) and Warriors 14-18 and got dusted.

He probably did not play Matale / Brown earlier due to the amount of players out and using less experienced players. You need a mix

"I believe BA had Lomax pegged for FB and he was going to transition Gutho to left center, Talagi was just a stop-gap at FB till he moved Lomax there. BA didn't get a chance to make this happen and part of the reason why Lomax pulled up stumps."

"Agree Poppa, I do think Talagi will improve by having better players around him teaching him how to defend, but he is absolutely still the priority target for oppositions teams."
